Clean Removal of Mastercam and Verisurf

Case:

A technical preview or beta version of Verisurf and Mastercam are installed and need to be removed.

Similar Case:

Release installation challenges following a technical preview or beta version.

Description:

Follow the steps below to remove Verisurf and Mastercam. The 20xx represents the installed version, for example, 2023.

1. Uninstall Verisurf 20xx from the Control Panel > Programs and Features

2. Uninstall Mastercam 20xx from the Control Panel > Programs and Features

3. Delete the My Mastercam 20xx folder under C:\Users\user name\Documents

4. Delete the Shared Mastercam 20xx folder under C:\Users\Public\Documents

5. Delete the Mastercam 20xx folder under C:\Program Files

6. From Regedit, delete solely HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\CNC Software, Inc.\Mastercam 20xx. If it is already gone, that is OK.

7. Open the Verisurf Software, Inc folder from the following path C:\Users\ user name \AppData\Roaming and delete the folder Verisurf 20xx. If it is already gone, that is OK.

Once the steps above are complete, restart your PC and download and install Verisurf 20xx.
