Renishaw PH10 motorized head communication settings for Universal CMM

Case:

How to determine the Baud rate on a PHC10-2.

Similar Case:

Universal CMM will not connect, error message regarding probe head communication.

Solution:

1. Access the back of the PHC10-2 and note the configuration of switches 1 through 3. Only switch 1 through 3 of the 10 need to be noted to determine the Baud rate.


2. Match the configuration of switches 1 through 3 with Table 2 to determine the Baud rate.
