TECH TIP - ACTIVATING A LICENSE OFFLINE

Follow the process below to activate a license on the computer with Verisurf and the Activation Wizard installed. This computer does not need an Internet connection; however, you need an Internet-connected computer to complete the activation.

1. On the computer with the Activation Wizard installed, select Start, Mastercam Licensing Utilities, and Activation Wizard.
   

The Product Activation Wizard displays.

2. Select Offline Activation/Deactivation, then select Activate a New License.
   
3. Accept the terms on the Terms and Conditions page, and then click Next.
   
4. Enter your License number and Activation code on the Product Activation Code page, and click Next.
   
5. On the Offline Activation page, select Save. The Save As dialog box displays.
   
6. Save the license request file (.mcReq) to a network location or a USB drive. An Internet-connected computer must be able to access this File.
   
7. On an Internet-connected computer, use a browser to go to Activate.Mastercam.com.
   
8. Select Activate a license.
   
9. Select Browse for your .mcReq file. Navigate to the .mcReq file, and select Open.
   
10. Select Upload and Verify.
    
11. When your license is verified, your information and product list. Ensure that the displayed information is correct. If there are any issues, please contact your local Verisurf Representative.
    
12. Select Download your .mcLic File. Save the file to a network location or a USB drive.
    
13. If you did not close the Activation Wizard, select Next. Then select Finish Installing a New License.
    
14. If you did close the Activation Wizard, restart it, and select Offline Activation/Deactivation, Finish Installing a New License.
    
15. On the Install License page, select Open.
    
16. Navigate to your .mcLic File, select Open, select Next. Upon successful activation, copy and paste the Verisurf. acc file, included on the USB drive, into the following path C:\Users\Public\Documents\Shared Mastercam 2021.
    
17. You may now begin using Verisurf.
    

This option is available if you did not finish activating a new license. To continue to install a pending license, select either Offline Activation/Deactivation or Online Activation/Deactivation, depending on your Internet status. Then select Finish Installing a New License and follow the prompts.

You cannot activate any other new licenses until installing or canceling a pending license.

To cancel installing a pending license, select either Offline Activation/Deactivation or Online Activation/Deactivation, depending on your Internet status. Then select Cancel Installing a New License and follow the prompts.
