Windows Defender Network Software License Problem

Case: 

The Mastercam License Server is unable to retrieve the license, please contact the Mastercam Dealer. 



Cause:

Windows Defender blocking the client from accessing the server.

Solution:










Step 1: Stop the CodeMeter processes:


  • Go to Windows - All Programs - CodeMeter - CodeMeterControl Center
  • Under Process - Stop Codemeter Service


Minimize Codemeter Control Center

  • Go to Windows - All Programs - CodeMeter - CmAct
  • Zip the contents of this folder and send to me (sean.leonard@verisurf.com)
  • Delete the contents of this folder. 


Restore Codemeter Control Center

  • Process - Start


Now return to the Activation Wizard, and you should be good to license.
